With the Ellips electronic System, Elisam can provide size mesaurement on cup and roller with an accuracy of +/- 0,5 mm.

Depending on the kind of product, our systems can provide really accurate size mesaurement by 1 image on our cup machine or by multiple images of the product on our GT.

In this case, the fruit rotates, allowing it to be exposed from all sides. The Ellips software detects the stem and the center of gravity: this way we know which diameter must be measured. With specialized algorithms, the specific shape of the product is taken into account to ensure the most accurate measurements. Thus we can measure the length, curvature and surface - but even more, like the length-diameter combination. Oranges can be measured up to even 12 pieces per second and 20 images each fruit.
